SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES
FOR THE MONTH OF
JANUARY
GRAMMAR / READING :
January 16 – Story Making
COM OSITION:
January 16 – Exposition Writing (Topic and task will already be given by the teacher this Friday, Jan. 9. Checking of work will be done during class schedule and vacant period of teacher Janet. Final competition, wherein output or work of students will be judged will be on the 16th of January)
January 23 – Descriptive Writing (similar with the Jan. 16)
Note:
Students attending either of these group classes SHOULD take part in these activities, without exemption. Other students (not enrolled or attending these classes) are also encouraged to join. For further inquiries, kindly ask the teachers in charge:

CONVERSATION:
January 23 – Debate Contest (Topic will be given a week before the start of the contest, to give ample time for the students to prepare. Application or registration for this competition should visit the office and inform the management about it, in order for assignment to be given, as to either the ROS or the CONS.)
STORY MAKING CONTEST
TO THOSE WHO WANT TO JOIN THE STORY MAKING CONTEST, BELOW IS THE ACTIVITY ROCEDURE:
Using a treasure map, you’re going to search for the treasure; but before you get it, YOU HAVE TO DO SOME TASKS. After which, you have to write the ENDING of the story.
You have to do 6 tasks. The FASTEST group of students (per class schedule), that is, the group that will be able to finish all the tasks plus the making of the story would be declared the WINNER. Remember, LOGIC IS IM ORTANT IN ORDER FOR YOU TO GIVE THE BEST ENDING OF THE STORY. So, come and join!!!

EX OSITION WRITING CONTEST
TO THOSE WHO WANT TO JOIN THIS CONTEST, BELOW IS A DESCRI TION OF THE CONTEST:
A student will be asked to write an essay (TO IC WILL BE GIVEN ON THE DAY OF THE COM ETITION). In addition, rules would also be mentioned on the contest proper. A student’s work will be judged according to:
a. Grammar => 25 %
b. Organization and coherence => 20 %
c. Content => 25 %
d. Capitalization => 15 %
e. unctuation => 15 %
